Study Program Calculator
A tool for potential students through which they can enter their educational qualifications and see which study programs they are able to enroll in at AAU. By using this tool they can also see which subjects they may have to supplement in order to become eligible for their first choice of study program.
Configuration of New Server Environment
The AAU Portal configured a number of services in a virtual server environment. This virtualization did not met our expectations and we changed to a simpler setup on new hardware, where the goal was a higher level of flexibility and improved performance.
Website for Download of SPSS Software
The purpose is to create a website for staff and students at which they can download CD images of the statistical program SPSS for their own use. The University has bought a license for the product.
New Version of Login Page to Access Control (SSO)
The new login pageis simpler to navigate in for the user as more login options have come.
Access Control with the Possibility of Using Citizen Certificate
To make it possible to log on by digital signature (Citizen Certificate) when using the AAU Portal's Access Control System.
LDAP Hierarchy
To develop the basis for the future authentication at Aalborg University. To be used in connection with the Access Control System and other systems. It is developed in collaboration with the systems administrators at Aalborg University.
Integration with PDS2
The purpose of this project is to integrate data from the new version of PDS. The data is currently used for person profiles, search engine, phone book, staff lists, activation systems etc.
Study Programme Pages Based on Integration with the Course Database
To develop components in Infoglue for study programme pages and boards of studies pages in order to make it possible to draw study programme and course data from the Course Database. The objective is to generate well-structured websites which function as the central point for Aalborg University’s educational activities.
Search Engine for Aalborg University
To develop a search function for aau.dk which searches in data from the AAU phone book, PDS, AAU Research Database (VBN), the Study Guide and other website under the AAU domain.
Newsletter Component
To develop a number of components for Infoglue which can collect information from different places for a combined newsletter published by the Administration – ideally based on articles from local newsletters at Aalborg University.
Integration of Data from the Info System at the Faculty of Humanities
To display events from the Faculty of Humanities’ info system at relevant departments’ websites. The information is only entered in one place but can be displayed in several places.
Staff Lists Based on Data from PDS (Version 2)
To develop components for Infoglue which can show a unit’s staff. The additions to version 2 consist of the ability to generate lists based on occupational categories and functions.
AAUdebate
A debate forum for all staff members at the University where staff members can express their opinion on issues like education, research, communication, staff matters, study programme matters etc.
